Colonial Group, Inc. is pleased to provide you with a wide range of benefits that meet your needs. Open Enrollment is the only time you can make changes to your benefit decisions each year, unless you experience a qualifying life event during the year.

Open Enrollment Highlights

You have the opportunity to change your benefit decisions during the 2025 Benefits Open Enrollment period, which takes place November 11th through November 25th. Decisions that you make will take effect January 1, 2025.

This year's Benefits Open Enrollment is ACTIVE. This means if you have any current benefits with Colonial Group, you must re-enroll during the Open Enrollment period if you would like coverage in 2025.

What's New or Changing for 2025?

Medical Enhancements

  • New Medical Plan Option: Eligible employees will have the choice and flexibility between Colonial's Traditional PPO plan and a New High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
  • Members who enroll in the new HDHP medical plan will be able to open a Health Savings Account (HSA). To help you get started, Colonial will contribute $500 for employee only and $1,000 for employees with dependent(s) coverage.
  • Our new wellness program will increase the accessibility for all employees to save on your medical premiums.
  • We're enhancing the medical plan's network to provide more access to care.

Additional Changes & Enhancements

  • We're moving to EyeMed vision to give you more providers at a lower cost.
  • To better support you and your family, we're expanding our leave program to include paid parental leaves.
  • Complimentary access to legal benefits to ease your mind. Services include support in estate planning, buying a home, landlord/tenant issues and more!

What Do I Need to Do?

Everyone must enroll or decline benefits for 2025

  • Take the time to review your plan choices for 2025
  • Use the decision tools, access your future healthcare spend, and desired level benefits
  • Save through wellness discounts, account base plans (HSA/FSA), employee contributions, gas memberships!
  • Ensure your dependents are covered by updating beneficiaries, their residence in Plansource, or coverage. If you are adding coverage, you will need their Social Security Number (SSN) and date of birth information
